Stanton Alexander Runner With Zoroufy Grand Dynasty Collection Stair Rods
This custom stair runner installation was done for our clients in Closter, NJ which is a borough located in Bergen County.
The job included having our team install some premade Stanton runners and a custom made runner we fabricated “in-house”.
We also installed Zoroufy Grand Dynasty polished 42” brass rods and brackets with special edition pineapple finials.
As you can see from the photos, the combination of the Alexander runner and the brass stair rods looked amazing in this magnificent entrance hall.

On the stairs leading to the second floor, we used the Alexander 31″ wide pre-made runner. The landing, and the main staircase were too wide for the pre-made runner so we had to fabricate custom sized runners. This is done by combining the Alexander broadloom carpet with borders cut from the narrower Alexander runner. All of the runners were installed over premium padding that is specifically designed to give the runners a long life.

Installing A Stair Runner With Rods
It is highly recommended that you have a professional installing your stair runner and rods. Many people are under the assumption that the stair rods hold the runner in place, that is false. The runner must be properly affixed to the staircase. The stair rods are purely aesthetic, they do not hold the carpet on the steps.
